As a Senior Server Engineer, you will be responsible for developing key server-side functionality for high-traffic scalable API's serving millions of mid-core mobile players. Working on new features and improving existing systems, you will need to be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment. We constantly push the boundaries on what's possible with the latest cutting edge mobile and server technology and you must be have the ability to learn, adopt and then teach new technologies to junior engineers. Core technologies: PHP, Java, Apache, Couchbase, MySQL, EC2 Cloud Hosting, Azure Cloud Hosting, Linux Variants Skills, experience and educational requirements: - BA/BS degree required - 4+ years of progressive experience with the core technologies listed above - Experience building large comprehensive and scalable systems - Thorough understanding of JSON and RESTful APIs - Troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced live environment - Excellent understanding of PHP and databases - Experience with non-relational databases is a big plus - Comfortable working in a Linux environment on the command line - Ability to work with external teams and APIs - Willingness to learn new languages and technologies - Gaming or mobile experience is a huge plus
