Job Description
Job Objective:Recommend, facilitate and manage updations in branch banking policies & procedures, in line with regulatory changes, operations issues, new system development and new products etc with an aim to reduce turnaround time and operational cost etc. Review & Recommend updations in Branch Banking Policies & Procedures
Conduct regular reviews/revisions particularly upon system, structure, Products & services changes, and attempts re-engineering to maximize TATs while updating Operational Policies & Procedures. It is also ensured that Operational Policies & Procedures are remained current.
Review, refine and recommend changes of processes and procedures to maximize productivity at all levels with minimum interruption to routine tasks in the branches.
Recommend business processes for new products and services.
Recommend new processes that mitigate cost, improve turnaround time and focus on increasing customer satisfaction.
Update field staff regarding new policies, procedures, operational arrangements, system enhancement etc.
Compilation, Development and Review of Banking Policies & Procedures
Assist Manager Policy & Procedures for compiling and developing Banking Operations Policies & Procedures in line with SBP Regulations, Applicable Laws, Internal Policies & Business needs.
Proficiently mapping the processes in line with Policies & Procedures for ease of understanding.
Compile Operational Issues and Facilitate New Processes
Compile regular occurring operational issues and develop solutions to mitigate / eliminate them.
Support Manager Policy & Procedures in development of new processes / enhancement & its implementation across KBL network.
Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate with stakeholders to have all Policies & Procedures reviewed, finalized & approved.
Interact with Internal /External Auditors as well as SBP inspection teams to review/evaluate/address Policies & Procedures related findings/comments
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other attributes
Preferably a Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Banking/Finance from a recognized university.
Minimum 5-7 years of branch banking operations experience preferably with a multinational bank.
Proven track record of leading process of re-engineering projects driven under acceptable quality assurance models.
Sound understanding of banking regulations. Incumbent’s role as banking operations trainer will be an added advantage.
Proficient in MS Office.
Willing to travel across KBL network.
