Job Description:

Providing the best Store Merchandising Concepts to the MCC PK Customers in full respect to the Country / MCCI Strategies and Values

Focusing on added values for Customers and MCC PK Responsibility to Guarantee the implementation of the Merchandising Concepts

strategy in terms of the 5 pillars of Merchandising (Store Layout, Department Layout, Equipment, Presentation & Signage).

Responsibility for the merchandising budget and the forecast of merchandising costs

Support Operations / RE in defining yearly budget and forecast in terms of investments for the implementation of the 5 pillars of Merchandising including e.g.Light remodeling / Remodeling of stores / New store openings, New equipment , New signage elements

Analyze Customer (consumer decision tree, customer profiles and needs)

Analyze and optimize the current Merchandising concepts, this includes: Identify potential gaps , Enhance the current concepts with new ideas, Create innovative concepts, Give feedback to MCCI Merchandising Concepts about concept improvements

Responsible for translation and adaptation of the concepts to the local strategy and the local customer decision tree (which can vary from country to country)

Defining project plans for the implementation of the Merchandising concepts

Planning the workflow in case of store (light-) remodeling and New store openings regarding Merchandising concepts

Developing planograms and supporting the stores in implementing those planograms

Managing monthly report (including communication within the country and to MCCI COMM)

Skills

Excellent analytical skills 

Good marketing knowledge

Entrepreneurial and customer focus, ability to quickly grasp and adapt to the Metro Cash & Carry business and how trading works

Very good expertise in wholesale / retail business and in trading

Excellent communication and internal negotiation skills and able to work under pressure

Strong people management skills 

Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
