Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day E-commerce store operations and optimize performance to ensure the online sales targets are reached.
• Assure the ongoing maintenance of Ecommerce events and activities calendars, including home page and category page features, landing page creation and related online consumer experiences.
• Monitor online customer feedback and be the main point of contact for all internal website queries.
• Create & maintain website content and ensure all content is up to date and ensure all pages, products & prices on the site are correct, updated and in line with trading at all times.
• Promote the continuous development and improvement of existing touch points and identification of new and emerging opportunities.
• Create and deploy digital marketing strategies to increase conversion oriented traffic. Channels include but are not limited to SEO, SEM, Affiliate Marketing, Email, Retargeting and Marketplaces.
• Ownership and management of internet marketing including social media integration.
• Assure cross-functional alignment through effective partnership with development, Brand and marketing teams.
• Responsible for creating high lead converting landing pages, news articles and keyword rich pages.
• Monitor online and mobile shopping trends and maintain knowledge of competition and opportunities.
• Identify and communicate opportunities for optimization, profitability growth and improvements.
• Assist in day to day management of SEO strategy, implementation & monitoring.
• Manage day to day social media implementation.
• Manage customer reviews, FAQs and coordinate with customer service and operations teams.
• Manage ongoing site updates, including updating merchandise assortment, creative and other site elements.
Skills
E-Commerce Executive - Skills & Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science BS-CS.
• 1-1.5 years experience in related field.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot website technical issues Experience with the following technologies would be considered an asset: MAGENTO, Google Analytics, Demand ware, Bazaar voice, Google AdWords & Google Tag Manager.
• Strong background in SEO and organic search preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a brand advocate and have custom focus.
• Understanding of online e-commerce, social and marketing space (paid search, comparative shopping, email marketing, affiliates etc)
